Bringing a Group to Wildacres

Wildacres hosts around seventy-five non-profit groups a year and most of these groups return each season. Many groups have been coming for over twenty years and several have been coming for thirty or forty years. There is a strong desire to have new groups experience Wildacres. Groups must be non-profit organizations and they must come with their own educational program. Each group advertises the program, handles registration, and provides its director and staff. Wildacres supplements the programs with the aid of its staff and equipment and provides some recreational facilities.
Programs traditionally begin with the evening meal on arrival day and end after breakfast on the day the program ends, but we are able to make adjustments to fit a group’s special needs. Wildacres can accommodate up to 114 people but we encourage groups of all sizes to use the facility. Wildacres books the retreat on a year-to-year basis with first choices going to returning groups.
