The 28th Wildacres Interfaith Institute
Sponsored by the Greater Carolinas Association of Rabbis

Monday, August 2, 2010 – Thursday, August 5, 2010

Outstanding Scholars Philip Cunningham and Jan Katzew To Be With Us For This Program On:
“Scriptures That we know all too well”

This annual gathering brings together Christian and Jewish clergy, scholars and laity, to share insights about our traditions, our differences, our similarities, and our concerns. Scholarly presentations, stimulating discussion, quality entertainment, warm fellowship and, of course, Wildacres’ incredible atmosphere and hospitality await your registration.

This Institute is open to all interested clergy and, as space permits, laypersons as well. We will hold this highly regarded program from the afternoon of August 2nd to late morning on August 5th, 2010

Such a subject as we will consider demands the guidance of major scholars for our information and discussions. We have succeeded in engaging Philip Cunningham, PhD, Director, Institute for Jewish-Catholic Relations, Professor of Catholic-Jewish Relations, St. Joseph's University, and Rabbi Jan Katzew, PhD, Lead Specialist, Congregational Consulting Group, Union For Reform Judaism.

AND, if you’ve never been to Wildacres . . . What a treat is in store for you!

To insure space for you and any invitees, PLEASE send your reservation promptly. Do you have friends in the clergy to whom you would like us to send this mailing? Please indicate on the reverse side their names, addresses, phone numbers, and/or E-mail addresses and we will oblige as space permits. Wildacres can accommodate approximately 114 persons if every room is filled, and that is our goal.

SPECIAL NOTE
Over the many years of our Interfaith Institute, we have been able to provide an entertainment program for your added enjoyment. Our guests have included symphonic groups, ventriloquists, classical guitarists, story tellers, and more.

In the past, the “Leo & Estelle Hoffman Fund,” to which many attendees have contributed, has funded this endeavor. In order for these programs to continue, we ask that you consider continuing your typically generous support of this fund in the memories of two outstanding friends of Interfaith. If you are able to aid, please do so with a separate check noted “For The Hoffman Fund.”
Thank you.
